Mashed chickpea, with olive oil, tahini (adds creaminess), garlic, salt, and often lemon juice.

A fresh hearty taste, and typically only has healthy ingredients.


Variant ideas:

  • sautee the chickpeas first
  • roast the garlic dirst
  • add hysop
  • add tamari
  • add red pepper, chipotle, or cayenne and/or paprika powder
  • add (blanched) spinach
  • add peanut butter ()
  • add yoghurt
    • and possibly things you'ld associate, like parsley, chives, or cilantro
