In programming, Domain Specific Language
- a language that, for its narrower intended purpose, is more declarative and expressive than a generic language can be, and often also more readable, and shorter
- the idea is to be more expressive for a specific use -- but we do sometimes catch ourselves in situations that are more restrictive than anything
In networking, Digital Subscriber Line in the sense of broadband internet over phone lines
