The idea is to have information in the shape you were looking for, which often means augmenting data already out there

  • links to good explanations, if they exist already
  • details, if most resources are only summaries
  • summaries, if most people only mention details
  • contextualization, if most resources only get dry definitions
  • dry definitions, where you only get fluffy roundabout stories
  • a "why do this in the first place" and "maybe consider this instead"
  • a   "technically ..."   alongside a  "and usually this means..."
  • intuitive bootstraps, like how a friend might explain it




It started mainly for more factual technical notes, say,


At some point I decided that was a boring thing to restrict myself to, so it is now also home to messy general personal notebook.

And it became "I am learning new things by writing it out", which crosses from the everyday to the technical and occasionally into the esoteric,


And later also personal opinions, and politics.
