Their movement is ''almost never'' an indication that something is actually happening | |||

Most people now have never used a floppy (or even know what it is), but it's still our save icon. | |||

is probably good for recognizability for anyone who use that hardware. | |||
But even if you never did, the time spent on the layout of the original is probably useful. | |||
Yet this may go down to imitating the off-color plastics, carefully rendered dials of the 'correct' type. | |||
And it needs to be said that there is a specific part of the gear freaks that not-so-secretly associates | |||
time spent on looks with time spent on sound. | |||
