I believe that everything is on topic somewhere ([1]). I'm a little disappointed that Wikipedia does not allow "howtos", no matter how brief. Perhaps I can rescue and put here some of the useful "howtos" that would otherwise be deleted and lost forever. Perhaps a few of the things that are here, for lack of a better place to put them, could be moved to some other more appropriate wiki.

I'm currently learning Python.

I like to think I understand electronics and signal analysis, modeling, processing, especially the parts used in data compression.

I'm currently trying to understand the "unscented Kalman filter". I suspect starting with some actual working source code would make it easier to understand than the current Wikipedia article.
