It seems that various google result links go first to their own tracking, then to the site being linked to.


Apparently particularly sponsored links, but also things like shopping.
When you have ad blocking (e.g. browser extension, an additional feature of the VPN you use, [[pi-hole]]),
it may well block googleadservices.com.




When there is any ad blocking (e.g. extension, pi-hole, feature of a VPN you use), it may happen to block this - and effectively break certain google links.
This effectively breaks sponsored results in e.g. google's search results

Which, not, includes a bunch of things you might think of as product links.
