Parataxis ('placing side by side') can refer to
- a writing style that is minimal in these sent hat it avoids conjunctions
- cf syntaxis (favors complex syntax), hypotaxis (the explicit subordination of some word, phrase or clause to another, (only or particularly?(verify)) with a conjunction)
- In linguistic analysis, parataxis often points to words that form a relationship by being adjacent, rather than explicit coordination/conjunction (verify)
